Autumn dolls~

Hello again, friends and family~ Hope you're having a wonderful season - all is well here. Just snapped a few images of the little group of dolls that are hanging out with me atm~ One of these days when I get my greedy hands on a house... I am SO gonna make a whole little world in one of the unneeded corners... Mwahaaaha~ Until then... enjoy a line of StoryKeepers and little gatherers...

Brume - Allhallows Eve StoryKeeper

I always plan on making Halloween themed dolls... zombie sheep - monsters - demons - extra creepy critters... but then I always think about creating these just as Halloween is approaching and by the time anyone sees them - I suspect the holiday will have come and gone. Last year I finished two 'Tim Burton' creatures and a moon/bunny/witch~ This year: I have Brume (another word for Fog)... I wanted to avoid making her outfit orange and black or too overtly Halloween... instead focusing on the idea that she herself has been seeped in the world of the strange and other worldly... XD as if she herself wasn't... but you get my drift, eh? Maybe next year I'll get to Zombie Sheep @_#; Baaaaaahraaaains~

Brume is a collector of obscure and arcane tales - anything mysterious and she is there to record it. Known for inspiring fireside storytellers and tongue tied palm readers~ she especially enjoys the holiday of Halloween; the eve of All Saints' Day; Allhallows Eve or Candy Day - as most Keepers refer to it.

New StoryKeepers

I felt a few new StoryKeepers were in order~ and with some color suggestions from some good friends I ended up with two Keepers (green- Camrin and lightblue - Wintory/Tory) and one little StoryKeeper Peep (Saffron). You may notice both Keepers have an Egg~ well :D when they hatch..... ;D

StoryKeepers are primarily word muses - they inspire a gambit of writers - from those who pen the manual for your microwave - to those who write the stories in your favorite books. But they are little muses - they help writers out with little things - a sentence here - a paragraph there - sometimes a whole greeting card! They cover all subjects and areas - science to fiction. They are most helpful for that very first sentence of a story. Some do have wings - most have tails and come in many sizes and shapes- all carry a little book or a pack of scrolls with them at all times - where they keep their own personal musings and doodles.

Why~ Hello again!

Ack~ I've been MIA, eh? Been rather out of it of late - and haven't been able to get much done in the way of work... I just wanted to get a little update out to those of you who may be on the lookout... I'm in the middle of a move~ yeah, another one... I think this brings my house/apartment count up to eight(not counting dorm room(s)... but does my mother-in-laws basement count? It was nicer than that sounds...) But this one might just suit~ at least for a little while, eh? I've a willow tree I can see from the window and a little man-made lake - I can go sit under the willow and enjoy the green. I've plans too~! Don't I always? But I will be coming back with serious fervor~ as soon as I get a desk to work on~ ^_~ see you soon!
